I use and recommend the in game Transfer Window Planner mod. It works fine in the latest version so no wo rries there After installing 1.5.1 my version said that it's outdated so i looked up in the comments for 1.5 version and discovered that it was a complete blank window in game for some reason.

Every year, Day 83 is Leave for Moho Day: Transfer time less than one Kerbin year, at a cost of 4600m/s or less.
The transfer window chart shows the ideal transfer angle between Kerbin and Duna for a given transfer window. I also include the range of angles such that being early or late in the window results in 5% more delta-v used during an optimal tranfer. This information is taken from Alexmoon's KSP Launch Window Planner.
