2019 should be reliable. Apart from noise/perhaps a jerky transmission, the LE AWD doesn’t have the transfer case issues. Shouldn’t have anything that affects reliability. Resale will be better with the new style, as well as power and fuel economy. Up to you if you decide a deal on the 2018 is worth forgoing all of that.

The prime battery sits partly below the floor so structurally it's impossible to put it into the hybrid.
