Yesterday I tried the Race Face T2, which I picked because it has significant padding right where others have experienced issues with the tailgate ridge. It worked perfectly and as you’d expect. It doesn't look very padded along the top of the tailgate compared to various bike-company offerings (that don't fit well because of how fat the tailgate is). And even if it were, bikes don't hang well on the tailgate because of how fat it is.
