The pictures showed that the sub box witch had 1 10" or 1 8" sub mounted to the underside of the 40 side of the rear seat. It allowed for complete use of the mid gate and all that was required to be done was removal of the head rest to lower the seat.

Yeah, Ive seen several folding midgate sub combos, I guess if the Sub is on one side or the other, and it allows you to put 2x5's and such in the bed with the midgate down, it makes sense, but if the sub box goes all the way across, and is deep enough to accomodate deep 12/15" subs, then the sub box will be so high that it would prevent putting ...

Sep 8, 2005 · Any tricks to this or should I just trace the outline of the midgate onto a piece of 3/4" mdf and start cutting? It looks like I can just screw the new midgate box in using the hinges from the factory midgate. I'm only planning on putting 3 JL10W3's in the midgate so weight shouldn't be a problem because the factory midgate is really heavy.
