The truck is about 7' wide. It is a bit wider then a Ford. The bed is 9' X 6' 2" (ID). Its weight is 9,280 pounds without bows and tarp.

Actually the fuel mileage isn't any worse than a 4x4 pulling a decent size camper or trailer. As far as a conventional semi being better, that depends. If you stay on Hwys and hide in truck stops, ok. But if you go even a little bit off road, huge difference.
