The a300 will shoot softer so it will help for high volume shooting or shooting with heavy loads. I can't think of any advantage for the affinity, but its still a very good gun. I see the affinity as a walk a lot shoot a little gun, and the a300 more as a waterfowl/clay/dove gun. Like.

The franchi is the 3 inch less fancy version of the benelli. Benelli sbe2 will shoot 3.5 inch ao if you want to shoot those go with the benelli.
