The 21`s grip was/is too large for my comfort. I am 6`1 with large hands, I bought the XD Tact. I shot the Glock .45, 9mm and 10mm and the .45 and 10 were a little large for my hands. I too am 6'1" with med to large hands I guess. The XD .45 fit like the Glock 9 but was a lot better for me and was over $100 less.

The grip angle on XD's are similar/same as a 1911. I love and have Glock's as well, but have just as many XDM's. I tend to shoot the XD's better, seems to be my natural point/shoot. ( my preference ). I also reload, and prefer the chamber of the XD's vs the Glock Bulge in the brass.
