Received two standard 15 round PSA Dagger Micro magazines a couple weeks ago for my Glock 43x, finally got the chance to put some rounds through them today. All internal parts to the gun are stock. The magazines were filled to 15 total since I received them to let the springs set. Marked both magazines to distinguish between the two.
The problem comes from slight variations in the mag well dimensions which can cause the S15's to seat differently than the OEM mags and introduce feeding/chambering issues. Shield Arms has now released Gen 3 S15 mags which have addressed the issue with some new ribbing on the back of the magazines.The GLOCK 43X is slightly (.1″) thicker and slightly (.08″-.2″) longer than the P365 and the Hellcat. Whether it’s that minuscule size difference or just the difference in design, I shoot the 43X better. Nov 27, 2023 · The PSA Dagger series of striker-fired pistols is compatible with Glock parts, including magazines. Recently, they introduced the Dagger Micro, which is compatible with G43X/48 parts. Rather than use the 10-round Glock factory magazine or the Shield Arms S15, PSA created their own 15-round magazine. To be honest, recently I usually just use the factory mags. A loaded 43X with factory 10+1 is 23.5 ounces, and with the Shield 15+1 is almost 26 ounces. Two and a half ounces more is not a lot, but it seems much lighter.
