The problem was that the Visible app would not download the eSIM no matter what we tried. Eventually Tier 2 gave up and asked me to factory reset the phone and no, that's not gonna happen. But it seems that the physical SIM stays active until the eSIM activates, so even if the process fails you won't be out of service.So far, I am generally happy with Visible service in my area. But, I am getting many more robocalls and spam calls than when I was on Verizon post-paid. I am averaging 4-6 such calls between 10:00am and 2:00pm (PST) every day.
