My advice is to go down Manitou Ave. until you find the funny sounding Smischny Lot at $10 for six hrs. The other lots are very expensive. What a trip up the mountain. This is the second time I've ridden the Cog Railway, the first time was 30+ years ago. The trains and railway have been updated and are much more modern now. The trip up is spectacular with all of the scenery as you climb from about 6500 feet to over 14000 feet.
