Hmm, this is odd. In the first place, if you have an HD cable box, CC is supposed to be set up in the cable box, not the TV, unless the TV isn't really connected to the HD outputs of the box. I need to know how the box is connected to the TV, are you using the 5 wire component video connection between the box and the TV, or are you using HDMI?
