I think the title says it all. I want to control my Hopper3 (Dish Network) with my Sony TV remote model. The model number of the remote is RMF-TX310U. It came with my XBR-x950g tv. The tv has an on-screen menu to do this but I get to the end and the program tells me to "turn on remote learning mode" or something similar on my Hopper 3.
