Disable it either using the OSD, or by connecting a USB cable to the PC and using Alienware Command Centre to control it. Both options should work. I'm not sure about that model but my 34 needs to be plugged in with usb and you need Alienware command center installed to control the RGB on the monitor.

In my case, and the OP's case, the computer has turned on which in turn activates any devices connected. It is some software that is waking the computer and in my case it is Command Center.
