The unit, as I received it, has no air cleaner. I checked the diagrams on JD parts, and no air cleaner is listed. It has the carb cover and all the other pieces..Remove the bolt, and you should be able to spin the auger segment on the shaft. It looks to me like you have two damaged/straightened auger segments. The one next to the edge of the bucket, on the right-hand side of the video. If we numbered the segments 1-4, starting at the left of your video, it would be segment 4.JD 826, mid-80s vintage. The manual online (from 1981) states to use 5W20 for the gear case. Some Augers use the grease (like the JD TRS27) and some use oil, and I suppose some can use both? I'm guessing for this one I have to use oil, but given that the manual is from 1981, I am sure times have changed.
