Barbarian, Fighter, Cipher, Rogue and Paladin are the classes that have damage boosts or other advantages that work with dual wield.

Multiclassing in this game is really great, especially among melee classes. Like, having played it through now three times, I cannot imagine any reason to take a Paladin as a pure class.
