A Chanter isn't anything like a hitman with just a base Accuracy of "Average" like a Paladin. Even worse with the two weapons penalty. Then again, Chanter's base Deflection is "High" but reducing it by -4 almost reduces it to the level of Druid/Paladin. Intelligence for a rogue is only if you want to debuff enemies so don't bother with that for a damage dealer. Go for all damage increasing passive abilities, such as Dirty Fighting and Deathblows, Bloody Slaughter, and then like Finishing Blow that can get you tremendous damage used optimally. Well, that's what I prefer personally.
