Xeno is stronger, more agile, can drop from above, and has multiple weapons at its disposal (regular jaws, striking jaws, talons, tail) that allow for close and ranged attacks. The issue with both Alien: Covenant and Prometheus is not that they are “bad” movies. It’s just that they focus too much on completing the story rather than how they should tell the story.
