Botw cloud saves between my deck running cemu (~40fps w/ steam deck resolution) and my PC running Cemu (~100fps @ 4k) using sync thing. ( Syncthing ) . Its a program that links 2 folders and keeps them updated. Its been working really well for this. I love this community and all the devs that make these integrations and application just work.

You could also try to use and edit the example save provided from the editor to see if the save you edited before was perhaps corrupted.
