You can't be coached for using PPTO, but you can be coached for leaving without completing assigned tasks. It's called "productivity." When I was coached I was told whenever I leave early I have to tell a salaried member of management. I’m not personally sure but I would think she can.

Well as annoying as it can be, it makes sense considering how many key event dates are the next two months, and considering how many managers will lie and say ppto doesn’t cover it, or that you need to use 16 hours, or that it’ll only remove one point, in an effort to get you to not call out during their busy season.
