It depends on your barrel length. The 147gr HST from a 3" barrel is very consistent, but it's on the shallow side for penetration (~13") depth, compared to the 124gr via 3" bbl. Critical Duty 135gr over-penetrates (20-22") from a 3" barrel because the speeds are so low that they don't expand. Bullet manufacturers have fanboys, and this is a ...147 technically has (marginally) more reliable expansion but the only reason id prefer that is if you run a suppressor. 124 is probably your best bet. I carry 124 for work by policy and 147 off work. They’re both great. I carry a G45 on duty and a 43x or 19.5 MOS off. 147 for the 43x and 124 for the 19.

HST 147gr is going to give you better overall ballistics. Better penetration, better expansion, easier to handle recoil, etc. 147gr 9mm is subsonic so it's less flippy and less noisy than a +P round, as well as more reliable expansion since the bullet is a bit heavier and isn't travelling ridiculously fast.
