The katana comes with the Ash of War "Transient Moonlight,” which essentially is the “Unsheathe” Ash of War with an extended area of effect because of a moon beam that shoots out of the katana after unsheathing. Your build was pretty close to my first build just dex and int changed and less vigor. And I tried so many builds to finally beat Melania and with your build, I beat her first try thank you was stuck there for days. Rivers of blood worked very well against her for me personally. Right honestly everything ive tested thats nerfed still seems good. Hoarfrost is the most noticeable with a loss of of about 400+ damage per cast. SONAF is still good, as it should be for a weapon cast that long and a flame wave that can't even hit an enemy if you're half an inch above its head or on an incline.

It's a better version of the frayed blade in ds3 but to say the moonviel katana is better than the pkcs is a bit silly.
