41 votes, 69 comments. I specifically created the question to be more ambiguous by what I mean, so let me bring a little more clarity to its scope… I hate all of this. I hated SoF when it was first released, I hate treasure hunter, I hate the legendary pets and cosmetic overrides that are paid for, I hate auras, etc. And I get that certain decisions aren't really up to some of the mods - whoever owns Jagex essentially pulls the strings.

Whereas, whining feels more like constant complaining, possibly more warranted but droning on and on. Rs examples: Someone going afk before a group event then losing their place - "wtf why did you go without me" = whinging. For the millionth time - "my rng sucks" = whining. Average_Scaper. A Niche case, but for all the discourse I see on the jagex launcher, and jagex accounts, I think this is one valid reason why people could be hesitant to upgrade as well. To be fair, rs players are pretty spoiled and just pretend jagex is not a business at times. Money comes first and chances are their support team has been told to prioritise money issues like these.
