I personally use the Alive Reshade including the RTGI (ray tracing) stuff. Looks great and the gameplay variant works fine in gaming. The only caveats are that I had to toss some ray tracing guy 5 dollars on Patreon and that I have a monster of a computer (4090, 7900X3D) because this Reshade along with various texture/model overhaul mods is heavy on XIV.

When you start your game, the Addons tab in the Reshade gui should show the ReshadeEffectShaderToggler information and controls. To create a toggle for a set of shaders, open the reshade gui and go to the addon's tab -> Reshade Effect Shader Toggler area.
