Hands down, Secrets Maroma Beach is the better choice. I’m not sure why Hyatt Zilara gets rave reviews. I thought it was run down & in desperate need of a renovation. They also had strange alcohol rules such as they only serve alcohol between 11am-11pm, no shots between 4pm-7pm and you can’t get more than 2 drinks within 30 min.
