Hiking Mowich Lake Snowshoe. Mowich Lake is an easy snowshoe or cross-country ski, with little to no avalanche danger, but you're heading up a road. Luckily, the Mowich Lake road is a scenic one, lined with evergreens laden with snow in the winter. And as you head deeper into the park, you'll notice how quiet it becomes, muted by snow.Trail to Colchuck Lake still has a few logs left but is primarily clear! On Aasgard Pass, there is one remaining snow bridge near the top but it has a well-worn boot pack. The Core Enchantments are still holding snow so expect slippery conditions late in the day once the sun has melted the top layer. At a junction with the “Lakes Trail”, go right and round the corner to the first and largest of the Reflection Lakes at 1.5 miles. (This junction offers a loop option of 3 miles.)
