Jul 17, 2023 · Review of Hilton Waikoloa Village. Reviewed July 17, 2023. Very disappointing stay. If you go, be prepared to walk A LOT. There is pretty good distance between the towers, restaurants, parking lot etc. We stayed in one of the non-refurbished rooms in the Ocean Tower. It looked basically unchanged since it was built in the 70's or 80's.

If I'm not mistaken...you get access to the Hilton Waikoloa pools, etc. There is a resort charge not sure how much. November is showing rates from $275-$350 a night. One is an adults only pool located in the interior of the Ocean Tower, the other is in front of the Ocean Tower and the other at the other end of the resort near the Lagoon Tower. I made a poor choice; we spent 9 days at Hilton Waikoloa Village in November 2023. We visited the Mariott while at the Hilton, it's a far more balanced Hotel (pools / (free) shade / attitude / beach / rooms / vibe).

If you're staying in a garden/resort view room you're probably getting a parking lot view though, just remember that. This tower also has the shortest walk from the main lobby.
