My ping fluctuates pretty wildly, and official servers are the only ones I have been able to reliably game on. I get booted pretty fast from non-offical servers for +300 ping. Love the idea of being able interact with live friends on DayZ, but haven't seen an official DayZ server that offers PVE.M70 and mosin even out under 300 yards with maybe a slight advantage to the mosin. It does handle a little bit better, mostly it's easier to track shots. My personal pick is the m70 or the blaze. I really only carry a sniper for the scope, anything under 300 yards you'll be getting hit with an ar. 8.
