Series X shuts down when playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 . Every time I play BF2 my series X shuts down apparently due to no proper ventilation, but the Xbox is in an open spot with plenty of ventilation. No idea why this happens. ... We have absolutely no idea when the servers for these games will be shutdown. It's entirely dependent on when EA decides to pull the plug or not, based off of how many players there are. Costs money to keep the servers online after all. The servers could go for another 10 years, or for 2 more years.
Hello there, On Monday (Feb 7th) we will be performing some quick maintenance to our servers in order to fix a number of exploits that have resulted in online gameplay being disrupted. Our fix for this issue is server-side, so no downtime or client download will be required. Maintenance is expected to begin around 09:00 UTC.The Game Spy servers are shutting down soon and will effect Battlefront 2. Online multiplayer will be impacted, however there are still ways to connect to others. My question is what is everyone going to do to play online? The only ways I currently know are Tungle and Gameranger (however gameranger has practically no servers available for this game currently).Just had a thought. I was just playing a galactic assault map with everything normal. I went to supremacy and all of my star cards reset. The level is there but star cards reset and the prequel hero’s and villains are locked. I’ve been playing since launch and have worked since then to get all star cards at purple. I was super close to completing it too!
