Hi Fellow Cruisers We have just been allocated our cabin No for our forthcoming sailing on the Epic and it is an aft balcony on deck 10 10332 right on the back of the ship, has anyone got any pictures/video of this cabin and/or stayed in it would love to hear about it, as we have had an inside before and a mid ship balcony before.Planning a cruise can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to selecting the perfect cabin on the ship. If an enclosed hull balcony does not appeal to you, consider a sailaway mini suite. All the Epic mini suites are well located midship near the stairs/elevators.The epic vibrates more during maneuvers because unlike a lot of ships built in the last 5-8 years it doesn't use azipods. It has two main propellers in the rear plus side thrusters fore/aft on each side. The simple maneuver of turning is more complex than just pointing the azipod the right direction.

The freestyle deck is located at the top of a flight of stairs and is a rather small area designed for freestyle sunbathing. We checked it out on the initial day while still in port. It was empty. I’d go for deck 12. You have cabins above and below you so it’s quieter. Also, the balconies on deck 8 are quite deep but 1) they are not only right over the lifeboats, 2) all the people on the decks above you can look down on your balcony from THEIR balcony so what’s the point. No Starbucks on the Epic. Atrium cafe and the restaurants serve Lavazza for espresso and espresso based drinks. I only drink strong black coffee, either espresso or french press made with lots of coffee. The espresso on the Epic isn’t to my taste; I find it thin, lacking body and tastes sour.
