this below is a screen shot of my system control center taken just a few mins ago.. As far as speed, YES, 9 Mbps is about the average speed you can expect. As for speeds, 9 Mbps is good.. 'advertised' speeds are up to 5 Mbps, so believe it or not, your almost running at twice the advertised speed.
