When did you purchase the unit, since you state it only has 10hrs on it. Did something happen to possibly cause this issue, referring to you riding conditions and use of the Ranger. Give us a little more information. Primary is the resistance between the electrical connector to ground (which is a mounting tab on the coil) secondary is between the electrical connector and spark plug cap. If you get no reading on the secondary side, unscrew the spark plug cap and read it again.
