Really impressed so far. It’s a bit goofy looking but the handle is comfortable and grippy 👍🏻. They’re both (Leaf and Twig) fragile, overpriced and somewhat of a gimmick. There’s pros and cons, but I’d personally get something with a proven track record and that doesn’t have a mechanism that breaks when dropped.

Maggard Safety Razors are cheap and highly recommended for beginners. I strongly recommend this starter kit. The Parker 26C is exceptionally comfortable (disinclined to nick) and efficient, and at $29 is not out of sight. Weirdly enough, Harry's is by far the best thing I've found so far for head shaving. At least, for getting a smooth head very quickly/easily. Most other razors irritate my head at least a little, but Harry's don't at all. Having said that ... after much experimentation my top 3 favorites are: Gillette - 7 o'clock - Super Platinum Black. Gillette - Perma--Sharp Super Stainless This is the gold and red box, hyphenated "Perma-Sharp". Feather - New Hi-Stainless This one can be harsh but it's manageable in my razor.
