On my last installation, using the Honda bracket (31113-P8E-A00), I installed a new Honda alternator bracket bolt. It has held up for years. I was so unsure of it working, not trusting the design, that I actually bought a spare bracket. I brought it out of one of my rollaways to check the p/n in this post.
