Shiki’s kit isn’t especially flashy, but it has everything she needs to be a great Arts-flavored boss-killer. ST damage is pretty much all she has to offer, but with Tamamo/Waver (or other Arts supports/semi supports), Shiki can do a lot of damage in a fairly short amount of time. tl;dr: Shiki can kill servants.

She makes her debut in style, though, with a super solid kit in a generally strong class. Da Vinci’s primary value is as a general-purpose support. While her support value is meaningfully lower than most of the SSR options, Da Vinci compares favorably to supports at the SR level, bringing good general buffs and NP gain tools.

This skill is like being able to use a normal guts skill three times in a row; the long cooldown is more than fair. That said, there’s not much incentive to upgrade this skill. The benefits from having this at a higher level are highly situational and—in my view—not worth the cost. Nero’s passives are just okay.

It’s a variant on Arash’s NP in that it deals AoE damage with an ST multiplier and then kills a unit—though in Chen’s case it’s not himself but rather the ally in the first party slot (or the third, if Chen occupies the first himself) who dies.She’s by far the best Arts unit in the game. She’s also part of the best Buster farming team in the game and is an optimal support for a handful of other Buster Servants. She’s a workable support for Arts and Buster in general and enables some unique and situationally important things. Bedi’s material requirements are pretty nasty for a 3*. He needs a ton of bronze mats, including 48 chains per skill. Fortunately, skill levels aren’t especially important to Bedi, so it’s not as bad as it could be, but still, not fun. Bedivere’s skillset is rather underwhelming overall. Recommended skill order is 2>3>1.

He has slightly higher-than-average HP to compensate, but FGO is a game where attack is almost always more important (unless you’re a support unit, like Jeanne), so this is definitely a weakness for Vlad—especially since he’s a Berserker and will be taking double damage. That extra health doesn’t really go very far.

In exchange for this, she has bad cooldowns, weak synergy with her best support, situational damage output, and, of course, essentially no class advantage context. She’s a situational investment at best and not even especially valuable in those cases.

Without proper support she’s a lot less impressive. As usual, typical damage-boosting CEs work well here—The Black Grail, Aerial Drive, and so on—though you may also consider starting NP (especially Kaleid) in order to get Penth bursting faster.
