The 7/a has better compatibility with various guns. If you get the 7 sub then you need to order the one that specifically fits the sig. if you don’t it won’t fit. All have pros and cons for me, but they are all great. I love mine as my EDC. I don’t have a light on mine yet I just have a 407k on it and added a bit of goon tape. Changing the back strap size for me made a huge difference when shooting too.
