The company previou...I’m sorry but yes those seem like indents. I have had way too many of them, so many that I stopped using frer completely. I now use internet cheapies and then confirm with frer. Even then with my last pregnancy in December the internet cheapies showed positive 2 days before an frer. If there is colour in it, especially on a FRER, I would say it is the very early beginings of a BFP. I may be wrong of course, but I'm sorry to say that we may be losing you from this part of the forum.

Jan 14, 2021 · First-timer here and I’m planning to use a FRER to test at 10dpo and want to know what to expect. I think it’s an indent in the test when the test line would go. Once it gets wet it looks like a line. This was an indent line. Sometimes, as the ink moves across the test window, a small amount of ink gets stuck in the second indent line (the test line). As the pregnancy test begins to dry, your urine starts to evaporate, pulling the small amount of stuck ink up to the top of the line. The top pic is the BFN I had this morning, at 8 dpo and the bottom is the other FRER I took 3 days ago. The evap one is 5 dpo, which is impossible to be positive. And when I put it up to the light it is totally see through.

I've taken plenty of pregnancy tests in my life, my husband and I tried for years before we had our son, and I've never seen an "indent" line, it's always been a clear negative. The last few days I've taken tests I can see a super faint line and I keep hearing it's an indent line.

So the tricky thing with First Response is that it picks up such a low level of HCG (like 4 in clinical trials) that it’s basically impossible to say whether they’re indents or it’s picking up on attempts to implant etc that are so early they would normally go completely undetected.
