If you're looking at metlife or delta dental, I'm guessing you're looking at VA Dental Insurance Program (VADIP) . Whether or not dental insurance is worth it depends on how much work you usually end up having done. In my case, I usually only need cleanings and xrays. I usually don't need fillings or any other work.
