Sep 15, 2023 · I just assumed it was the AFM going back and forth between the 8 cylinder to 4 cylinder operation. Never really felt or heard anything though. The Range device stopped the problem. But, after reading about so many problems with the A8, I still feared a pending failure of the transmission or torque converter.
