Structural Beams (Length) I'm trying to create a composite beam (i.e. (3) 2x10) where the number of members would be parametric using an array. Structural will use Floors for everything (floors can have cut profiles), Arch Roof sits on top of the Struct Floor. Same for floors. Struct own the floor and Arch puts another on top for finishes.

Chief is probably the best when it comes to CAD Details and annotating them. But, I use it because for simple drawings, it is a good money maker. I have done pretty well with it over the years and have learned a lot of my own workarounds. You already found it, it is the export to DWG dialogue. That dialogue shows how categories will translate to layers. You can further refine them by running "checkstandards" in Autocad.
