The polarities remain the same through configs. The polarities that you see in the corner of each mod slot is the same for every loadout you have on that frame. So you would either have to polarize a different slot to fit the mods in, or get a copy of the frame like you said. Nope they all share the same polarities the only exception is an aura ... Why has Ember Prime only two (non ability) polarities, which are different to the polarities of the normal Ember and no third? I understand the importance of the polarity boost (+14 cap) but they could remove polarities from Auras and still give them all a passive (+14 cap). Removing polarities from the stance slot would, I think, encourage us to experiment with stances further and see what suits us. That said, we could definitely use more stances. we could also stand to have existing stances tweaked so that combos are easier to pull off and are less dependent on timing.

You can stay general, but then you will remain weak, you can specialise and become more powerful, but there is a cost in terms of being locked in.
