I can't activate the device to find the second song fragment. I think that there were sentients that were supposed to spawn that aren't showing up, breaking the trigger. Edit 2: Turns out as u/SchnorftheGreat says, you can avoid the bug by not engaging Sentients that are not attacking you.

If you have access to archon hunts, those should be the most sentient dense missions. Running mesa with the set in any of the endless missions should get you a nice amount of sentient kills rather quickly.
